Hull FC head coach Richard Agar welcomes back half back stars Richard Horne and Sean Long for Saturday’s Super League showdown with Leeds Rhinos.

Horne has recovered from a groin problem and Long is back from a dislocated elbow and both will line-up against the Rhinos.

That means there is no place in the squad for young full back Jack Briscoe and second rower Mike Burnett who both miss out this time around.

Craig Hall looks set to continue at full back in the absence of the suspended Jordan Tansey and youngster Reece Lyne should retain his position on the wing after two solid performances against Crusaders and Warrington.

The only other players to miss out are long-term absentees Richard Whiting and Mark Calderwood.

SQUAD: T BRISCOE, BERRIGAN, CUSACK, DOWES, FITZGIBBON, HALL, HORNE, HOUGHTON, LAUAKI, LONG, LYNE, MANU, MOA, O’MELEY, RADFORD, TICKLE, TURNER, WASHBROOK, YEAMAN, THE 18TH MAN.

IMO Horne should play full back and leave Washy or Berrigan in the halves with Longy. Think its likely that Berrigan will start at 9 but again I would leave Houghton there. Think I would go with:

1 R Horne
2 T Briscoe
3 J Turner
4 K Yeaman
5 R Lyne
6 D Washbrook
7 S Long
8 L Radford
9 D Houghton
10 M O'Meley
11 W Manu
12 D Tickle
13 C Fitzgibbon

14 S Berrigan
15 E Lauaki
16 P Cusack
17 S Moa

I hope Hall doesn't play. I thought he had a decent game against Warrington however lets face it the pressure on for that game was zero.. he knew he was leaving, the result of the game wasn't that important either. This is the type of game he may choke in and I don't think we can risk him especially at FB and with an array of players back I'd personally drop him as I thought Washy had one of his better games against Warrington too.

You are joking right?? Do you still have it recorded? Watch it again mate, his decision making in defence was shocking all game and caused us to conceed at least 2 trys! Giving that Leeds are going to be very light in the pack with 4 first choice forwards out I expect them to be planning to do us out wide, so I would not have Washy anywhere near the starting 13.
