I believe that it's just like Fifa or a game like that were you can play your seasons (origin, NRL, Super league etc) and then if you want you can play online with your friends or against other people around the world

Rugby League is set to hit the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 after the announcement of a brand new video game this week.
Rugby League Live, scheduled for release in September 2010, is being developed by Australian company Big Ant Studios, and will feature 40+ licensed teams from the NRL, Super League and more.
"Rugby League Live for Playstation®3 and Xbox 360® is an exciting addition to the NRL licensing range," NRL Director of Marketing & Commercial, Paul Kind, said.
"The head to head multi-player feature available online is a first for Rugby League gaming and the enhanced design and interactive features provide a dynamic experience for all gamers," said Kind.
Its other features include:
30+ realistic stadia from around the world.
4 player multiplayer.
Bone crunching tackles and impact camera replays.
Field and uniform degradation.
Create your own players, teams and competitions.
Multiple replay angles and commentary by Andrew Voss.
Join friends for head to head & co-operative online play via PlayStation®Network, and Xbox LIVE®.
Previously, Rugby League has been hit on PlayStation 2, Xbox (Rugby League and Rugby League 2) and more recently the Nintendo Wii (Rugby League 3). Although this new title is independent from its predecessors, it's believed the developers of the original games, SIDHE, have handed code to the developers of the new game.
