Is that directly linked to Benthams stopwatch?... if so that just adds to the neverending list of errors that mans made!

Anyone know why he disallowed that try Tansey got when 1 of the saints players just literally fell over?

Putting the typically crap refereeing aside it was an amazing comeback great game, and incredible team spirit! houghton and manu were the stand out men for me, happy days!

They called it right on RH I think after the game. Bentham was poor for us in the first half, but once he let the game flow we were on top.

Every single Saints try came directly off the back of a penalty.

Yep - although our inability to defend out wide and stop the offload contributed as well.

I do get RL-induced Tourettes at matches, but Bentham's first half performance took me to a new level. Looking forward to getting the DVD as normally I come away from a game feeling cheated and the replay shows most of the decisions were correct.

Yes we noticed this. Not sure how long it had been stopped for, but once my friends and I noticed, at least 4 tackles were made whilst the clock was still stopped

I was hoping that the timer was not the offical game clock and just there as an indicator for the fans so I was expecting the hooter to sound with about 1m30sec on the clock to account for this error, but the clock ran down to 0.

To say I was gobsmacked is an understatement. Balls ups like this simply should not happen in this day and age. How fooking hard is it to stop and start a stopwatch at the correct times.

That just proves that they are good at using the opportunities they are given.

After a victory like last nights its easy to put the negatives to one side. I also appreciate we were playing one of the most potent attacking teams in the league, but the ease and frequency at which they scored down our right hand side really neads addressing. I don't want to single out Whiting, he has been very good for us in an unfamiliar postion and he was not helped out by his centre / second rower, but the sooner we have Calderwood back fit, the more secure that wing will look.
