Gilmour was poor and undisciplined, really, and I wouldn't have been happy with him if I had been a Hudds fan. However, saying that Saints know when to let a player go based on this one game is a bit strong, especially seeing as though he was pretty good last season.
I won't comment on the purposefully-implied bit about Long, though.

Yup, thought Graeme Horne looked pretty much the same as he did for us too. Steady without been spectacular, does some things really well and then does some totally stupid things too. Better player than some on here give him credit for though. |
