| I know this might be a touchy subject for some, but would there be any of rovers current squad who you would swap for a current hull player, playing in the same position?
Me and my dad always seem to have this same conversation everytime we watch hull vs rovers, who would we swap for who. Its hard to do because personally i love all the hull players and loathe all the rovers players.
But i think i would swap:
-vella for cusack- both have similar games but vella is slightly more influential
-dobson for long- both suspect in defence but dobson seems more consistent
-galea for radford- probably goes without saying even tho radford is a workhorse in defence
-fox for calderwood (possibly)- calderwood works his socks off but hasnt hit the same try scoring heights as at leeds (maybe thats our halfbacks fault)
This isnt saying that i dont like these players or appreciate what theyve done and continue to do for the team, i just would maybe swap em for their rovers counterparts if i had a business head on.
What does everybody else think?

I think I'm fed up of the number of threads to do with Rovers on this board.

I have read these type of statements over the past few years and its been clear for all to see that we have had the better squad of players.

| This would be my Hull team, forgive me if i get the rovers team wrong but think this helps:
1. Tansey - Briscoe: Probably take Briscoe, he's a current international
2. Fox - Calderwood: Probably take Fox, he's a current international
3. Hall - Welham: Hall all the way, pure class
4. Yeaman - Webster: Probably Webster when fit and on form
5. T Briscoe - Colbon: Briscoe wins
6. Horne - Cooke: Horne wins
7. Long - Dobson: Close on last seasons form but Long is head and shoulders above
8. Cusack - Vella: Vella wins
9. Berro - Fisher: Berro wins
10. O'Meley - ? : O'Meley wins
11. Fitzgibbon - Newton: Fitz wins, international
12. Manu - Galea: Manu wins
13. Washy - Murrell: Washy by a mile
14. Dowes - Mills?: Dowes wins
15. Moa - Netherton?: Moa wins
16. Lauaki -- ?: Lauaki wins
17. Houghton - Cockayne: Houghton wins

A few crazy decisions there but surely you have to base most opinions on form?

In the interest of debate which ones do you think are crazy? Ive based some selections on form already but most on ability. I believe rovers over achieved and over performed last year as has been admitted by some fans. I also believe FC massively under performed and under achieved. That doesnt mean im going to select rovers players where they clearly aren't as good as the FC equivalent.

If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...: |

“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club.
Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

44592_1267285924.jpg With typical under-statement, Saints coach Mick Potter said: "Sean Long didn't surprise me. We all know how good he is and he should be happy with the way he went."
