After watching his last few games i thought he was very average,
some awfull passes, that bounced very kindly and kicks that were not too impressive either.
If it was'nt for his try saving tackles he would nt have been mentioned tonght.
Was not happy with his signing at first, now even more unsure.

Thought he was decent tonight, good try, better try saving tackles. Exactly what we've been lacking.

He played well tonight. I will be more than happy with that kind of display next season

You have the makings of an awesome pack next year, but then go-forward wasnt your problem this year. If Long stays fit and you have a break from injuries I will suggest that if you had Cooke along side Long you would make top 3.

He played well. Gets into 1st receiver and ORGANISES THE PLAY. That is what he will give us first and foremost at Long last.

Thought he was m.o.m. tbh tonite, think saints will be worse off without him thats for sure. In fact im struggling to think where their organisational play will come from next year as Pryce is a glorified centre/winger and Eastmond will end up being another Jason Robinson, out on the wing.

Think Longy will do a job for us if hes on the park, the sheer fact that were paying him a kings ransom will ensure he knows the importance of why hes being signed up.

We needed a scrum half, we've signed one of the best around, end of discussion. Some people are never happy.

Have to say I remain unconvinced that the coach has the ability to get the team playing to maximise the effect of long. He isn't superman and can't do it on his own. he needs the players around him to be playing 100 times better than at any time since agar took over
