| Other clubs (Wigan included) came in for him but he was convinced by his conversation with Agar and him coming across as a genuine bloke and was also assured Agar would be the coach in 2010 when he signed. Agar apparently said Long's role would be to "run the team" and help with the offence and video work, as well as playing a coaching role with the club's young halfbacks. This involvement in the coaching side was what swung it.
Comes across very well - bit quick-witted compared to most of the players that have been on KCFM this year, anyway. |

| The Radio Mancs Thursday night Rugby League show is always a good listen, even for us folk over this side of the Pennines. They show how, even in an area dominated by football, you can provide good coverage of our sport. Not many other BBC local radio stations can compare. ![]() rl, although it may not be available again for a few hours or so. |
