| With our rugby neighbours having A shop on holderness road and i am lead to believe plans to open one within the princess quay?
I wondered if anyone thinks that maybe ours should expand or even re-locate?
any thoughts???
personel thoughts! think the central town location, should be of paramount importance but should be bigger premises.

| I think the town centre shop is ok where it is but could do with being a little bit bigger.

What's wrong with the shop on Paragon Street? It gives us a city centre presence and the rent will be cheaper than Princes Quay.

No - I think you either go there to buy something specific or you don't go there at all. Wherever it was located I don't think many people passing by would just pop in to look round and then buy something on a whim.
The Paragon Street shop is only 2 mins walk from Prinny Quay anyway.

Didn't we have a shop in there once, I would have thought that it would be too expensive to rent. To be fair our merchandising side of things doesn't seem to be doing badly. I'd be very surprised if Rovers think that running a shop in there and one on Holderness Rd was financially viable.

| I remember buying FC stuff off Albert Walker when he had a shop in Caroline St.

| Didn't you also have one years ago (talking mid-late 90's) near the Primark entrance (but up the escalator)? IIRC it was 50/50 City/Hull merchandise.
Tbh I'd be very surprised if we did open one up in there, think we tried it very briefly years ago but settled with Hold Rd, which makes sense IMO.
From an outsider I think the Paragon St shop is perfectly placed e.g. easily accessible by foot, + car parking outside and down Queens Gardens.

| Used to be one of the top floor, tiny place that never had what you wanted in.
I would be quite happy with just the shop at the ground. I never go into town and it is much easier to park at the ground than it is in town.

Oh yeah prob right tbf (around the time Llody/Wilby owned both wasn't it?). Remember my brother thinking it'd be really funny to buy me a 'Hull Sharks Champions 1997' t-shirt from there for Xmas!
