Would the Aussie Cricketers have needed visa's?can't believe the whole squad is squeaky clean, they'll be here about 4 months |

I could be wrong but pretty sure they dont need the a working visa as they are only on tour as opposed to working here full time |

I reckon your right, there will be a different process for it, a touring side would not pay taxes here would it. If the likes of Crocker were selected to represent Aussie in the series at the end of the year, I doubt it would be a problem.
You will probably find a reciprocal agreement, lets face it a lot of our sports stars would not get into other countries if they took everything into account. |

"Captain Jace van Dijk, leading try-scorer Tony Duggan and player of the year Damien Quinn were among the players whose arrival from Australia was delayed.
However, all overseas players at the club will have their visas inspected, but it is not known how many be under investigation for possible irregularities".
makes you wonder if theve got rid of duggan and quinn early doors because there visas wont be renued next term due to breaches of border control...

This sport has a long history of doing things badly that other sports find easy. The whole sport has an almost potical attitude to admin, we can not even agree on which is the body in over all control of the sport RFL, BARLA, SL they all fight for there own corner and fancy blazers.
Union are far better organised.
