Did not this second half display put paid to wh should be the hooker between Houghton and Lee.

With Houghton we have a go forward player who makes defenses worry,an puts out clean sharp passes, should have played from the start.

We start off to defensive, as soon as Houghton , Moa , and Whiting came on we went forward and played rugby.

We need to get Maloney in then we will have another go forward player

He did have a good game today but that was easily his best display of the season.

Tonight showed exactly why he will remain a bench hooker. He's great at scooting against tired markers/A defenders and provides something different. That, though, only comes after the solid work earlier and the platform being laid, with a pack getting on top of their opposition. That didn't happen early on tonight, with defensive mistakes out wide (from both sides) meaning that the game didn't really settle at all in the first half. Once it did in the second half, and the forwards were making ground, Houghton could come on and do his job.

Erm lets think about this,Tommy or Danny??

For me looking into the future,theres only one winner,Houghton has shown that he can play at this level,so what will him dropping down a level do for him???
