| Anyone else think top quality ones are like gold dust? Although it's stating the bleeding obvious that we need one, potentially we're up against Saints (as Long has been rumoured to be leaving for ages), Bradford, possibly Wigan, and Warrington for any potential candidates. Myler (and maybe McNally) apart there are precious few young British prospects emerging which makes it a bunfight for the NRL cast-offs/pension-seekers.
Even if the club has an epiphany and realises we need one, I reckon our chances aren't great.  |

why not pay a transfer fee then? they stand to lose a shed load of cash if this clubs decline continues. Wave £200k at most SL clubs and they'd take it in this recession, there's only us and about 2 other clubs making a profit for starters.

Funny I got shot down in flames at Edinburgh for daring to suggest the very same thing, it has been painfully obvious we need one but looking around the globe there certainly don't seem to be many available, money or not!

Those are my thoughts exactly, we must have a few bob so why dont we get some cash on the table. Might as well have a go! |

Only one i'd think is Burrow, him and Horne together would be great a lot of speed around the play of the ball, i'm sure they could try and coach it out of him but to start he'd be ok  |

Unfortunately we face major competition for a big name should one be available.
