I have been an FC fan all my life...my family have going back 4 generations. I have experienced the very highs and lows we all discuss on the boards regularly.

Recently i have found myself wondering how the club has come on in the last 20 years and if we really have any grounds to worry at this point.

I have to say no not at all. Going back to the dark days where we were broke, unrecognisable as the FC we love and reluctant supporters in the ground. i Believe we have changed for the better

I believe that a run of 3 Major finals in 3 years is amazing and even though we have dropped off the pace, so to speak, i believe the signs are there for FC to thrive both as a business and a club in the future...if we get rid of a few key people in the club (we all know who)

The fact is that FC fans are the best in the world (along with drovers i have to say) the city as a whole loves rugby league and our attendances are showing this.

All i can say is keep the faith old faithful fellow supporters and the glory days will return once again!

We are not in a position to panic at all, on or off the field. We are joint 5th in the league and 4 points off top spot, without playing anything like our potential. We have had two international backs on the treatment table all season so far and they are due back very soon not to mention an international forward (Luaki) who hasn't arrived yet. We have some of the most exciting and promising young talent in the game. Briscoe, Houghton, Burnett are future England stars for sure and Tommy Lee is also starting to show what he is capable of.

Off field we have an A Grade licence which secures our superleague status for 9 years at the very worst, and we getting record avarage crowds and merchandise sales year on year. We are also just about the only profitable club in Superleague.

However because we aren't throwing the ball around like the Harlem Globetrotters and racking up cricket scores every week people will always find something to complain about I suppose.

Would still like a proven experienced 1st team coach though....oh and a decent half back!!!

Club seems to be in very good shape, I would like a top coach and a top SH but other than that I would not change too much. We are developing good young players, we have excellent attendances (3rd best), we have an A license and despite all the moaning we are joint 5th and 4 points off 1st place.

Pretty good summary. Stand by to be called a blinkered idiot.
