Again the results are showing the style of rugby we are playing this year and that the backs are just not seeing the ball enough.

Manu has had a god run but R. Horne has been quiet for a few weeks now, would like to see him and Thorman with a few more to their name.

Manu was poor in defence at Saints

Dowes fully deserves to be top.

Manu hasn't been brilliant lately, and has got MOM, shows how bad we have been.

Manu has been superb in most games up to and including the derby.

I'd say he's tried hard in most games. Thought he dropped too much ball and missed too many tackles in the Derby, myself.

He's on the pitch for too long. Agar needs to have two of Manu, Tickle and Radford on the pitch at all times, no more, and play Whiting or Washbrook at 13. Then we'll get the most out of our second rowers, and an extra creative body in the side at 13.

I know why it is. I'm just saying that, whilst the effort was there, his performance wasn't necessarily 'superb'.

He looked absolutely shagged towards the end of that game IMO. I understand he was a little ropey in the Saints game, and I'd guess fatigue was a major factor.

We're using him wrong. He isn't, or at least shouldn't be, an 80 minute player. Even so, he's shown more guts and application in the last few games than most of the rest of 'em.

I see what you mean, and I guess I rolled pure effort and actual performance together into one rating.

We look a beter side with him so Agar is then tempted into playing him for the 80 mins. Coming off the bench does not really suit him imo as he seems to find it hard to get into games.

Personally i would start him and give him a rest 5 mins before half time and bring him on 10 mins into the 2nd half therefore he has had a good rest.

He has been top quality in a few games but his effort has been good in all of them. Seems to have found more consistency this season.

I'd agree with all of that. Particularly pleased with his consistent level of application, as this has let him down in the past IMO.

Perhaps it does. It's often commented on that fatigue affects your judgement (by me mostly in this response).

when is did it last year i gave a 3 points, 2 points, 1 point score to the first 3 names or just 3 points to the single names for most round lol.
