It has struck me over the last few seasons that Hull will never make the next step up in class unless they address a lot of basic issues. Unlike Leeds and Saints who in all honesty are who we must aspire to match some of the following points really let Hull down;

* Defensive line speed is poor
* Defence in the three quarters is poor
* No depth to attacking line
* No second phase
* No support play
* No speed at the play the ball
* Poor kicking game
* Poor passing acuracy (Always behind the player)
* Players always take the ball standing still (no momentum)

To me these are all rudimentary basic skills of rugby league.

In addition to this the board seem unwilling to invest in a top quality coach, player recruitment almost seems an after thought apart from the odd key signing in the summer and discipline at the club continues to be a joke! Some of the players seem to be completely two faced. Full of praise for 'the best fans in the game' followed by some of the most unprofessional attitudes in sport which consiquently lead to some of the most disgraceful performances imaginable! This club is destined for failure unless action is taken. The question is ............... Who is responsible?!

agreed seems players come to Hull nowadays to have skill coached out of them.

The is also to do with us having a flatter line in attack then we do in defence.

The board must be p@~@icon_confused.gifg themselves. We go week in week out, pay top dollar to watch, spend thousands on merchandise and for what. A set of absolute k*&^s creaming off of the top. Three more losses and then see what they do. Bring on Jon Sharp, another nowhere man. I am fed up of it and the nuggets across the river must be loving it. Three years in top flight and they are beating us for fun. WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH!
