Personally, I don't think we will be, but that is solely down to Wakefield providing some sort of a safety net for us at the moment. If they were to win a single game in the coming weeks (be it against ourselves or anyone else) and if our current atrocious level of performance and commitment were to continue, then the alarm bells will become steadily louder.

The simple fact that this conversation is even taking place is testament to our dire mood and situation right now.

It does show how poor the league is but credit to Last , they stuck to a game plan that thwarted Rovers and we’re in the game until Jordan Turner’s knock on wit two minutes to go. They have several players who are just slightly past their best , McShane , Watts and Kenny Edwards being prime examples - but all three would improve our current squad , based on what we have seen from our team , so the rebuild at Hull is massive and, unless fans are patient and loyal , could well be beyond Smith as it’s not going to be a one season project unless we sign 20 gems that other clubs cannot also find is it?

Think most fans are aware that we won't be 'fixed' in one off-season

I did tell people to enjoy our double-winning cup glory
and did say after the departure of Radford that it could be another 20 years before we come anywhere near tasting silverware again.
