Have you ever changed your mind about something? In the space of say 6 weeks? You're being incredibly precious about this. I'm impatient to know who we've signed, but I'm not so desperate to know that I'm name calling someone for not announcing the names of our new players at exactly the time you think he should.

Having read his posts on here I doubt it TBH.

As I keep saying holdsworth will be announced on monday, likely followed by crookes later in the week

Then it will be 2 more announced per week over the next month

I expect Holdsworth and Crookes to be announced next week. Hearing rumours could be an extension for Briscoe.

Do you realise how ridiculous it sounds to say that all 6 signings Pearson said he couldn't announce until the 4th of September have now changed their minds and want to wait until their club seasons have ended.

Whilst I agree he may have being misleading I am not so sure on the intent of that. Having met the guy a few times and heard stories on how he works I reckon Pearson will be more frustrated then anyone that he couldn't announce them as planned.

Probably his lack of RL experience has lead to this.

Finally, somebody who can see it for what it is, I agree completely.

If briscoe is extending, that would be one of the best retentions we've seen for a while.

Who said they've changed their minds? As others have pointed out, AP said nothing definite about announcing things until 4 September (ComeOnYouUll said "He doesn't explicitly say that all the signing will be announced on 4th September or in the first week of September"icon_wink.gif so why get so uptight about it?

I suspect

that all the signings have signed for 2013, so may be focussed on this season for now. They, their club or their agents may have asked AP to hold off on the announcements for very good reason, nothing to do with a change of mind.

AP may have been overzealous, but I'm not going to fault him for that after however many years of deadpan Hetherington and Rule.

Next season, I hope the club state early on that no signings will be announced until after the season is over.

All of those complaining about pearson should go and bang their head against a brick wall until it bleeds.
