So Sidhe provided motion/stadium capture and commentary, the core gameplay sounds like it's also been lifted from previous incarnations, and the graphics are basically slightly polished from the Wii. There's less content and no improvements at all.

I might have posted this in here the other day, I'm not sure. Anyway, I went into the Game in princes quay about a week/2weeks ago (I wanted to preorder Black Ops), and tried to preorder fifa11 and rugby league live whilst I was at it.
I was speaking to the deputy manager, and he said that although there are signs up to advertise preordering for rll, they don't actually know when it'll come out over here. He even said that it isn't a definite that it will be released over here, as he said that they're only expecting sales in the north of England, so they're (either game or the publishers) aren't sure if it'll be worth it. He said it'll definitely be released in Oz/NZ, as apparently it's being made by an Aussie company, but it isn't definite to be released over here. However, he said to keep checking back.

I was disappointed when I heard this, as I'm looking forward to the game, but I think that as it came out for the wii over here, there's a good chance of it coming out on the ps3.

I seem to remember the wii version was uncertain too. The one thing i will say after buying the wii game, if this one is anything like it i'd stay away. I played it for about a week and thats it.

The north of England is a biggish market - even sticking to the most limited M62 definition of RL, rather bigger than New Zealand. Having gone to the expense of producing a game (including ESL squads!), surely it wouldn't cost that much to ship a few over here? At least I can buy one from Aus through ebay if it comes down to it.

The Wii version was awful, better with a Gamecube controller but still poor.

Not sounding too good overall this.

Big Ant apparently have a 5 year/game deal. Hopefully with the next version we will get a franchise mode or something. Sounds as though the only thing you can do is play online, quick match or just a competition mode.

Dont think i'll bother with it now guess i'll get fable 3 instead.

Yeah you're right, just seems like they'll never get it right.

If you had a long-term RL supporting game production expert there's the potential for an amazing RL game, e.g. the gameplay of Jonah Lomu Rugby but with modern graphics and RL code, just seems like will never happen though.



Hey so what's the deal with this game if it's only released in Aus, can you play it over here?

People who have played it have said its okay hope so anyway cos I've ordered it getting it imported should be here next week
