We just don't score enough tries. Other than the 6 we scored against a poor huddersfield we've clocked up 2, 3, 2, 3, 1 in the 5 games since. If it's not a piece of individual skill or a kick, we have very little to offer in the opposition 20. Desperate for a new attacking coach.

Cant argue with too much of that apart from your top 4 calculations. In the last two season 16 wins would have got you a top 4 spot. Lets air on the side of caution and say we are going to need 17 this time. That means we need to win 15/24. Still very achieveable. Win the next 3 and that becomes 12/21. Which suddenly seems alot more straight forward.

As I said earlier, no reason to panic yet, but we need to start putting some results together very soon.

Trouble is £100,000 sounds a lot but we cant replace the quality of Watts for that money

Radford said our kicking game was poor, but maybe he needs to look at how devoid of attacking ideas, apart from a kick on the last tackle, we are. Is it because sneyd has no confidence in his passing game and puts everything on the foot? I don't know. Hope Lee does

Attack is very poor but we dont have a lot of options at the moment.

I'm not too worried... Yet. We've had some dross served up in the past 2 years and still come up with top 4 finishes and silverware in each.

Poor last night, but Salford first 17, which is just about was last night are a good side, pretty similar to how the last two seasons have started, time to kick in now.

Attack needs addressing, defence and go forward aren't too bad, we aren't scoring enough try's, backing up is poor, when Leeds make a break they tend to score we don't. Hopefully having Houghton back will speed up our play, missing Kelly if he goes next season I worry for our attack.

Salford in crisis did not look like it.Credit Watson the disruption he has had to put up with the last 3 years is unbelievable. Players nobody wanted he made them into players worth quarter of a million in only 2 transfers.Massilla didnt want to leave and not the same player at Warrington.Obrien discarded to Swinton on loan before going to Salford now sold for 150 thousand.Watson applied for the Fax job when a player here a massive mistake us not giving him the job.

If our attack had been better we'd probably have won sl the last 2 seasons but it isn't and there doesn't seem much prospect of it improving any time soon.

No dummy runners, passing the ball aimlessly along the line, no one raking on the defence poor support play. Been the same for years and made worse by sheds kicking game being off and Kelly being injured.

Well get better but I don't see us retaining the cup or mounting a serious challenge in the league this year.

Might be right Jake but then I am trying to remember how bad we were this time last season when Salford and Leeds stuffed us at the KC.

That was April but we do seem to have this sort of poor run and performances around this time most seasons.

We haven't started well the last two seasons. We just dont seem to be able to perform when the weather is poor. We play our best rugby when its hot, the grounds are hard and we can play at the line at a high tempo. We often struggle to adapt when the conditions dont really allow this. Our lack of any real creativity with ball in hand is a concern.

thought abdull would help with our attack, for anybody who went how did he go? we have had 2 good years so a hiccup and that's what I hope it is was gonna happen it does every year, be nice to get some of the injured back, mini on what ive seen looks a tad of the pace, we need to get a win against cats,

Sneyd, Shaul, Mini all poor this season so far, Conners not an half back, Watts (our best forward) seems to of been sold because of a disagreement then Radders spat his dummy out

Crap against Hudds apart from 20 minutes, Crap against Wigan, Average against Cas and Warrington, Played better against Leeds but still started off poorly (again) and if it wasnt for a disallowed try would of been 16-0 down in 15 minutes! Crap against Salford

Attrocious start to the season imo

Two games in both 2016 and 2017?

We stuttered after round six last year with one point from six - the big lead at Warrington thrown away and the thrashings at home to Salford and Leeds. In 2016 we lost rounds three to five.

If we can win the next three we'll only be two points behind where we were at the same stage in 2016 and one in 2017. That's with Wigan, Cas and Leeds away done.

How often do you come on here with anything other than moans about the team. If they're so bad why do you bother following them (I won't say supporting as that's not what you do). Every team will have a bad result or two during the season but its what happens in August and September that matters.
