Delayed again.... November now!!

Went in game over the weekend and even they don't know when its coming out, they have advertising cut outs now which suggests they might have it by the end of the month, although they usually have it in stock 2 weeks before it goes on sale (their words).

The game is being released in Australia and New Zealand tomorrow as scheduled, it is only in the UK that the decision has been taken to delay release. Unsure as to the reasons but think it is due to slight amendments being made to the UK version ie Cover etc

I have pre-ordered my copy from fishpond in New Zealand and received an e-mail to say it had been dispatched on Saturday Cost $129 including delivery). This is for the PS3 though as the PS3 is not a regionalised console and you can import games for it. The X Box is regionalised though and the Australasia version will not work on your European machine. Ultimately if you have a PS3 you can get the game straight away, if not then your choices are wait or if you are a bit flush then you could import a machine as well as the game but be aware that no games bought over here would work on it.

Sounds, being generous, 'okay'. Tbh, if you like RL there aren't loads of options and if you don't, you wouldn't be buying it anyway. I'll be getting one when it [ifinally[/i comes out over here.

So Sidhe provided motion/stadium capture and commentary, the core gameplay sounds like it's also been lifted from previous incarnations, and the graphics are basically slightly polished from the Wii. There's less content and no improvements at all.

I might have posted this in here the other day, I'm not sure. Anyway, I went into the Game in princes quay about a week/2weeks ago (I wanted to preorder Black Ops), and tried to preorder fifa11 and rugby league live whilst I was at it.
I was speaking to the deputy manager, and he said that although there are signs up to advertise preordering for rll, they don't actually know when it'll come out over here. He even said that it isn't a definite that it will be released over here, as he said that they're only expecting sales in the north of England, so they're (either game or the publishers) aren't sure if it'll be worth it. He said it'll definitely be released in Oz/NZ, as apparently it's being made by an Aussie company, but it isn't definite to be released over here. However, he said to keep checking back.

I was disappointed when I heard this, as I'm looking forward to the game, but I think that as it came out for the wii over here, there's a good chance of it coming out on the ps3.

I seem to remember the wii version was uncertain too. The one thing i will say after buying the wii game, if this one is anything like it i'd stay away. I played it for about a week and thats it.

The north of England is a biggish market - even sticking to the most limited M62 definition of RL, rather bigger than New Zealand. Having gone to the expense of producing a game (including ESL squads!), surely it wouldn't cost that much to ship a few over here? At least I can buy one from Aus through ebay if it comes down to it.

The Wii version was awful, better with a Gamecube controller but still poor.

Not sounding too good overall this.
