depends who signs them? look at saints with hargreaves for example, nothing special at wigan, but excelled at saints due to having better players, players i'm referring to will most probably retire!(hopefully)

My point is that a constant rotation of players due to cap constraints will cause a balanced league for what ever reason as we have discussed as teams can no longer 'horde' players.

but the players that get rotated, will mainly be fringe players, cant imagine the likes of leeds letting mcguire or burrows leave due to the cap, clubs like us, yourself, hudds, cas, wigan will be fighting it out to sign them type of players. what will be intersting will be sts' in 3 or 4 years, how good will their youngsters really be when the likes of cunningham have retired??

But SL is becoming more and more a squad sport so teams that put all there eggs in their first 17 may well come unstuck.

At least the players made an effort and turned up....

Theyv'e handled it well so far with the likes of scully retiring etc but i agree saints will be in a major transitional period when the likes of long, cunningham, gilmour leave

Eastmond, Moore, Smith, Wheeler, Clough, Dean and Ashurst all look very good, the future is in good hands at St Helens.

Our future is bright too, there's a lot of good young talent in the reserves and academy, with a smaller squad next season they will be used a bit more. Hodgson will come through next season to the first team on a regular basis, possibly Lynn too.
