Paea and Green very strong. Bowden looked decent again too, and good signs from Savelio. It is so infuriating to be a Hull fan, the way bad performances are brushed off - but will take a cup run.

The forwards had to put a shift in and they didn't disappoint , Good game time for Bowden and Savelio , and Paea again having a stormer .

Both had very good games, but you are right I think. With Paea in particular there is a temptation to say he should stay given his recent form. But you can't just forget that he had been very disappointing until the last couple of months.

You have to ask, what would be more disappointing? Release him and it turns out he had one big year left. Or keep him and it turns out he is finished? I always think it's better to let a player go a year too early than a year too late.

If we let him go, and he has another decent year at another side, then that is fine. It will be 1 year. We will have Evans and Ligi Sao for 3 years hopefully. It is time to refresh

Good to see Ratu go half the length and I thought Savelio showed some promise, he could be quite a player for us once he has some games under his belt.

Not sure where that performance came from but other than a 15-20 minute spell I thought we completely dominated and stifled them, which was impressive given their monster pack (although ours looked pretty big tonight I thought). We did go through a strange patch where we seems really disorganised with the ball though which was worrying at the time but really we just ended up strangling the life out of them and once our pack were on top there was no way they were coming back.

green has looked good since he came back and I hope we keep him but if we're looking at 2 overseas props it seems unlikely. pea has upped his game in recent weeks but I agree with others that he should be let go - his own fault if these performances have been in him but he hasn't put them in. manu and mini both upping their game for one last tilt at wembley

Well done boys, as usual we’ve shut a few gobs, outstanding, crucified the cup holders, who wants US in the semis.

I thought we controlled the game well, at times Catalans marched us down field, but apart from a a couple of occasions I thought we handled them well, they are above us in the league, on good form and about full strength, our attitude in the 2nd half was excellent.

I was very critical of Mini last week, but I thought him, Paea and Green were very good, Savelio and Bowden getting fitter and gives us size and strength.

Backs worked hard and some real class and control from from our halfbacks.

We miss Houghton so much when he out, defensively and getting us moving.

The winner of Bradford v Halifax, if Saint and Wires make the semis.

After last years fantastic performance in the cup, at the saints home ground, I don’t think even they will want us, should they overcome Trin.


Ratu hands like dinner plates

Complete performance last night,apart from a 10 minute spell,like everyone else how can 2 performances differ so much.? Sneyd in complete control,and the pack bossed cats totally,jekyll and hyde sums this week and last week.We are more consistent,not very good.

What a brilliant second half performance. Jake and Ratu were sensational, been so long since we had a properly fast winger I couldn’t believe my eyes when he went all the way.

Can Whiting bring the ball out at every game?

Brilliant all round performance from everyone. Griffin continues to silence the doubters with another workhorse display. Radders needs to emphasize to Bureto the importance of trusting his centre. Two soft tries that could have been avoided.

Hopefully he stays fit and on form. The carry when he just kept walking with three on his back was a sight to see.
