Great result for us tonight but bentham was terrible and wigan's tactics just get worse every time you see them play. If they spent more time on playing rugby and less on trying to milk penalties they'd do much better. unfortunately, the refs are, on the whole, weak and let them get away with it. A few penalties against them for trying to cheat their way to penalties and they'd soon stop.

When you watch a game like the final last week, where both teams go out to play rugby and the ref allows them to, and then watch that dirge that wigan served up tonight, you wonder why the RFL don't get to grips with it. Even as an avid RL fan I find it hard not to switch off when wigan are playing

Great result for us, Widnes did they were best to lose the game with their appalling discipline and knock on's at the end, but what a brave defensive performance particularly in their own 20.

Surprised Brad Fash and Masi not included.Taylor should be rested and is in danger of burning out.Outstanding for most of the season but the last few games you can see he has not been as effective.Deserves a rest for the effort he puts in each game.

I've just read the last couple of pages and I'm just sat here smiling.

We've just won the cup at Wembley. We're now talking about potentially winning the LLS. We're already in the playoffs with games to spare, one game from the GF.


We really have to cherish this moment and the next 6/7 weeks, whether we win another trophy or not, we're there battling for them. Sport is cyclical and it won't be like this forever.

As others have said. We need to rest players and this is the match to do it.

I do think we need to rest quite a few tonight as last weeks game plus the celebrations will have taken a lot out of them . The ideal thing to do was win 2 or 3 of our next 3 games maybe win the shield and rest the team for the wire game , a week before the play off so there fresh for that one .

Maybe we won because they were free hits and the pressure was off? I don't for one minute expect us to win tonight after the physical and mental exertions of the last week but if we do then great but if we play the bulk of the team and we suffer in the coming weeks then it's a poor decision. We're capable of beating any of the other top 4 sides home or away so the real target has to be going into the play off game in good form with a fit squad.
