Didn't you also have one years ago (talking mid-late 90's) near the Primark entrance (but up the escalator)? IIRC it was 50/50 City/Hull merchandise.

Tbh I'd be very surprised if we did open one up in there, think we tried it very briefly years ago but settled with Hold Rd, which makes sense IMO.

From an outsider I think the Paragon St shop is perfectly placed e.g. easily accessible by foot, + car parking outside and down Queens Gardens.

They had a free standing unit on the bottom floor of Princes Quay,when it first opened.

Used to be one of the top floor, tiny place that never had what you wanted in.

I would be quite happy with just the shop at the ground. I never go into town and it is much easier to park at the ground than it is in town.

Oh yeah prob right tbf (around the time Llody/Wilby owned both wasn't it?). Remember my brother thinking it'd be really funny to buy me a 'Hull Sharks Champions 1997' t-shirt from there for Xmas!

I think the club would do more business in St Stephens always seems packed in there.

Bet it's a rent issue again though (most the shops are owned by major high street chains rather then independent clubs/busineses like either of ours).

Commercially we are one of the strongest clubs in SL. Leave it be for me.

Generally FC clobber isnt something that people would potter past and purchase anyway, they often hunt the shop with specifics in mind. The little shop we have will do.

in gereral i would agree i.e the new kits/tracksuits/rain jackets etc but FC do bring in new stuff every so often like the many styles of t-shirts/polo shirts and the 10 yard range. which most people wouldnt see unless they go on the FC shop website every month.

dont think any of the shops in st stephens are owned by retailers but there rented off a property developer....
i always thought a bigger shop was in order to be honest, the location is fine but i think we need a wider section of merchandise in that store to compete...i would suggest the club invests some of its cash in a new retail unit....the former index store on king edward street would be an ideal/prime spot.....its a gtreat size and in a great location..

Theres rumours abound that both the clubs will be shutting thee satelite shops and just keeping the stadium based ones, trying to push more online sales
