If we sign brent tate over sam moa then I will be disgusted. We have needed a prop like sam for as long as I can remember, he's a fans favourite, he gives 100% every time he takes to the field, and he genuinely loves playing for Hull.FC. Tate on the other hand brings a whole new meaning to the term 'injury prone' and would, (I imagine) command a hell of a lot of money. In doing so, we would also be shi tting on two of the best, young attacking prospects in the country, in tom briscoe and craig hall. Obviously this is only a rumour, but if it were to happen then I would be very pi$$ed off.

So was Jamie Thackray.

As for needing a prop like him we have O'Meley and Hame to do that job, people say about Tate not playing every game but answer me this if our props stay fit just how many games will Moa actually play?

Hame should be used in the second row.

I'd play Moa every game with Hame in the second row.

Tate would be a colossal waste of cash.

I disagree. He plays mainly at prop (I think), and in the little that we've seen of him he looked much, much better at Prop that SR.

Personally,

IF we signed Tate, it would be a colossal mistake.

World class player - but no use to us, if he's sat in the stand.

Hope the club learnt a valuable lesson, from the signing of Dykes.

Most reports state that Lauaki is a second row. He's played there for the Warriors, the Kiwis and Tonga! That's what we signed him for. That's how we should use him. Together with Manu they'd be devastating out wide.

Getting to a final is next. Then a top 6 finish or semi-final appearance. Then I suppose the derby counts as the most important league fixture. Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else. We signed him to play prop before we knew how Moa would work out. If we keep Moa we could use Hame as a second rower, where he's played most of his RL and where he looked dangerous when running out wide.
