Didn't Gentle say he wanted the club's training sessions posted on the club websites and for fans to go to any/all sessions?

someone asked if they could go to training sessions,his reply was fans are welcome anytime and the doors are always open and they have nothing to hide.

Just while we're talking about training etc. Where is the place down Chants ave? I read the name of it somewhere but can't remember.

it's YPI, easy enough to find.

With it saying Chants Ave, I thought it was actually down one of the Avenues itself. YPI was the only place I could think of but that's Chants Ave north.

How come they've moved there anyways?

we've invested a chunk of cash in the facilities apparently, not sure about "why" but that is where we are now based for training.

Its on Chants Ave North next to the Crematorium the Club have relocated there because its in Hull, the facilities are better and most importantly all under 20's and Under 18's games will be played there which is more convienient for a lot of fans.

The youth teams will be having some training sessions with the 1st team, I think this is a very positive development. Teams like Saints & Wigan have the same training principles/sessions running right through from the 1st teams to younger teams, it is about time our club adopted this approach with the youth, hopefully we will see more youths breaking through.

Yet another, fairly obvious, option that the previous regime seemed to ignore. If you've got the youth teams playing to the same structure as the first team, then the step up is not as intimidating.

I couldn't care less if our youth teams never won anything again, providing they were being developed properly, something that has patently been missing for some years now.

Exactly,also Gentle gets to see first hand what they look like from the age of 16 and input into their development plans. The lads will benefit immensely, all round winner it beggars belief how poor the youth set up has been under our previous regime!

Same, Windsor Road for me! Hope to catch a few games this coming season.

Hopefully it's more convenient for the Club's Lawyers too. It may mean we can ensure that all the player's contracts are water tight and all of them get signed!!

We have moved to YPI because Adam Pearson tried to buy Ionions when he owned Hull City Ionions messed him about the deal fell through and this appears to be his payback taking away £35k a season they paid to train there.

Was actually £20k per season, and Assem Allam gave them 10K to keep afloat a couple of weeks ago.

You will find that with all costs at Ionions the true figure is actually £35k. The £20k only covers the cost of using the facillities.

£20k to train there,plus the cost of the indoor facilities( catering etc)

You certainly know your Ionions.

Rumour has it Allam invested rather more at I's - six figure sum for 5 years ?

Six new signings in a week resulted in an away win at Preston, Longy n all. Determined bid to evade relegation.

Maybe he is just a generous benefactor investing in local sport..........................?
