Hame and O'Meley are both more than just "impact props". Hame will spend a lot of time in the SR and O'Meley is more of an enforcing/pack leading prop.
There is plenty of room for big Sam in our pack. Half a dozen games from Brent Tate will certainly not represent the same value for money. |

I aren't saying that we should bring Tate in, i'm saying that suggesting we don't need a utility back but need a prop is just silly.
He may be in yours but he won't be in Agar's. Dowes, Yak, O'Meley and Hame will be. We can't tie up a quota place on someone who isn't even a first-choice player if there is someone better avaliable. |

brent tate is a exceptional player and would be the best centre in super league, but 2 ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in 3 seasons isn't good. although he did play a full season last year.
what worries me is he is the type of signing we go for.

As good as Brent Tate is, we shouldn't go near him. Hall and Yeaman should be starting with Briscoe as back up for another year.
Sign up Moa and have him off the bench with Manu and Lauaki, with O'Meley starting. If we can have at least 2 of these on the pitch at the same time then it will give us constant aggression and size in the forwards.
