Who will be no where near as good as Brent Tate. Hame and O'Meley are here to provide the impact next year and you need balance, no team has 3 impact props in their starting line up. Moa has looked good this year but Thackray did last year, lets face it, it wouldn't take much to look good in our pack. |

I would have thought that if we was intending to keep Moa we would have signed him up by now, think the club are actively looking overseas to fill the final spot, guess we won`t have too long to wait to find out who that may be.

Hame and O'Meley are both more than just "impact props". Hame will spend a lot of time in the SR and O'Meley is more of an enforcing/pack leading prop.
There is plenty of room for big Sam in our pack. Half a dozen games from Brent Tate will certainly not represent the same value for money. |

I aren't saying that we should bring Tate in, i'm saying that suggesting we don't need a utility back but need a prop is just silly.
He may be in yours but he won't be in Agar's. Dowes, Yak, O'Meley and Hame will be. We can't tie up a quota place on someone who isn't even a first-choice player if there is someone better avaliable. |
