He's a class player, he'd certainly improve your team. The mods on the Wigan board are terrified of being sued for libel so I've no idea what has actually gone on.

The rumours on twitter have certainly been eye opening. Whether they're true I don't know. Gleeson has certainly been in trouble with Maguire before though - whether this is the straw that broke the camel's back, or whether it's a very serious offence I don't know. I'm not sure we'll ever know.

I'd sign him, but it would be with a couple of clauses in his contract that he must behave and move to the Hull area.

Every player deserves a 2nd chance, just like Tansey and Hock have.

Be a very good signing (on the pitch) for a couple of years, we nearly signed him in the off season.

NO, as good as he is and would be a good signing for the team, we should not go any where near signing him, Smacks of double standards .

Going on the various rumours, seems nobody actually knows what happened.

Saying that, if what I heard is true - then the whole thing may not entirely have been his fault.

Why? Tansey went through the due discipline process at the club. He was employed by Hull FC . Gleeson for whatever he has done, he was not a Hull player. I,m not saying we should sign him or not, but everyone deserves another crack of the whip.
If you got sacked from a job would you think it unfair every other employer not wanting to employ you? i would.
I dont know the ins and outs of it but he would be a good addition to the playing field no doubt about it.

If I got sacked for gross misconduct I'd expect to have to do what Tansey is, take a lower paid job at a smaller employer and prove myself.

I don't expect that will happen at all.
