Feel sorry for Hull KR, but well done Salford. Funny for 5 minutes but we will miss the derbies imo.

As much as I wanted Salford to win, I can't even bring myself to brag. That was a rough as hell way to lose it.
I think I'll give it an hour before I start texting all my Rovers supporting friends.

Bloody hilarious congratulations to Salford. Fully deserved after losing so many players to injury during the game. Whenever they got it wide they exposed KRs poor defence. Latest news is there's a new 50 year plan to get back up.

Do players contracts still go null and void when you are Relegated? If so it could be a blessing in disguise for them as they could clear out the likes of Campese and Kelly with no payoff.

Why would you want to lose your biggest gate (income) of the season?

We've played them 4 times (including friendlies) a year for 10 seasons. We're bored of it. The fixture no longer attracts the crowds that it used to.

From a business point of view, the benefits to us as a club with Rovers gone far outweigh the revenue we lose from the 1 Rovers home fixture.

think im in a minority, i actually wanted kr to win, they are our rivals! superleague has lost one of its best fixtures next season imo

the only problem was too many fixtures between us, a friendly, two regular season matches and magic, both sets of fans were bored of the games and gates dropped off

It's been over done in recent years. More Hull derbies than you can shake a stick at. Admittedly it's the only true derby in the game but it has lost it's edge. Same old same old for the build up. A year or two off won't do it any harm. The fixture will be better for it ultimately.
