On RL3 competition is not the same as manager mode or franchise in competition its only one season and i dont think you can sign players also its things like the the challenge cup. Were as is franchise mode its 15 seasons and you can sign players get sacked and all that just like on fifa.

Games station told me the uk release date was 2nd september when i pre ordered it.

The reason xbox live is a membership is so that you can report other members and xbox live can ban then if there is a need to. (say your playting fifa online you go one nill up and the other player keeps disconnecting. with ps3 you cant as you dont chose who you play).

I would be extremely surprised if you get the game from a UK outlet on 2nd september.

As for the online thing, most of my gaming is done on the pc (far superior to both consoles) and i only use the consoles for online sports games (much better on console than pc)

And don't be expecting the PS3 to be as pirateable as 360, a PS3 disc is a blu-ray (50GB) but 360/wii is a standard dvd (~4GB). So downloading a rip of a ps3 game will be hugggge

Delayed again.... November now!!

Went in game over the weekend and even they don't know when its coming out, they have advertising cut outs now which suggests they might have it by the end of the month, although they usually have it in stock 2 weeks before it goes on sale (their words).

The game is being released in Australia and New Zealand tomorrow as scheduled, it is only in the UK that the decision has been taken to delay release. Unsure as to the reasons but think it is due to slight amendments being made to the UK version ie Cover etc

I have pre-ordered my copy from fishpond in New Zealand and received an e-mail to say it had been dispatched on Saturday Cost $129 including delivery). This is for the PS3 though as the PS3 is not a regionalised console and you can import games for it. The X Box is regionalised though and the Australasia version will not work on your European machine. Ultimately if you have a PS3 you can get the game straight away, if not then your choices are wait or if you are a bit flush then you could import a machine as well as the game but be aware that no games bought over here would work on it.

Sounds, being generous, 'okay'. Tbh, if you like RL there aren't loads of options and if you don't, you wouldn't be buying it anyway. I'll be getting one when it [ifinally[/i comes out over here.
