| At the end of the day, if we played the u21's on friday we would lose. Yes they may play with abit more pride and passion, but in terms of skill and physique most of them are knowhere near yet. Salford are no mugs, (as they showed us earlier on in the season) and we have to play our best 17 on friday to beat them, simple as. Fair enough the players arent pulling their weight at the minute, but thankfully I think they've started to realise that, and friday's game is winnable. We are still in the 8 (even if it's other teams that are keeping us there) and as long as we win more than we lose between now and the end of the season, we will comfortable finish in the play-offs. The argument then would no doubt be 'yes but then we will get tonked in the first round', which to a degree could be true, but we'll have bodies back at the end of the season and it really is anyones ball game from there on. From that point it isnt relevant how badly we've played throughout the season, or who we play (home or away) because it just comes down to who plays better in the 80 minutes.
Our destiny is in our own hands, and hopefully the players have had a reality check of late and know that they have to seriously up their performances in the remainding 12 or so matches that are left. All it takes is 2-3 consecutive wins and confidence will come back. I'm as ed off as anyone with how we're playing this season, but realistically a top 8 finish is more than achievable, and as long as it stays that way, we have everything to play for.

Agar having seen Kear and Sharp go through 'player power' would surely know who the instigators and leaders are. And surely he would have got rid by fair means or foul if only to give himself a fighting chance to get the job done the way he wants it done.
One other point worth remembering here is that Jon Sharp was instrumental in getting Casey the bullet when he was playing, so he can't have any gripe about 'player power'............. Ohhhh the irony.

They may well be right, but if they [iare[/i deliberately undermining him then they should be released immediately for breach of contract.

Finally someone speaking sense!
The worse that will happen is we'll see a team of unexperienced players with potential try there best and get used to a super league game.
I would rather this than a group of overconfident players wearing the black and white shirt slacking off for money and not wearing the black and white shirt with pride as this club was supposed to be about.

I recall John Kear's head being called for in a similar way. Peter Sharp was called out of his depth. What is the common denominator in all this? The players.
BTW, I used your quote because it doesn't bother me if people use 'buzz' words or maybe leave a couple of letters off a word, as long as they make a constructive point.
Being condescending gets us nowhere.'"
The common denominator is cheap 2nd rate coaches and a board which won't speculate to accuulate

| They will not use the u21 squad of course, but there are some members of the 1st team squad that to be frank need to some where else.
I guess Rich Agar knows who they are and I dare many on here do, he is just not going to be allowed to drop them. Its down to cost as the u21 players would come at a cost to play them, playing lazy 1st teamers does not.
I have one or two names in mind and I have resisted the temptation to name some as I am not in the business of slagging them off on here.
Its too public
But Thorman is not one, I believe he is trying its the buggers that are not bothering to work too hard.

| Quote: Rock God X "It's not an either/or scenario for me. Agar needs to go, as do a good number of the underperforming players.'"
I agree with that.
Big [size 'If'[/size player power is and has been a such problem at the club, then why on this earth, did the board appoint Agar in the first place?
Surely the board did not expect that an inexperienced R Agar, was the man to sort out that problem.
I think this 'player power' card, has been way over played.

Hall going to Widnes demonstrates Agar's lack of ability, and I wouldn't call Fitzgibbon on a year "prudent".'" What rugby coaching experience do you have that would make your opinion on agar plausable? Don't defend yourself by telling us it is your opinion as you are too dismissive of other peoples. You are condescending and rude. Common decency and manners cost nothing. Your parents must be proud!
