Can't tell yet really can we , the only certainty is that he's learning from Last and Radford and has been around them , played with them & been their mate for years. Yeaman will be appointed skills coach and chief strategist next!

| Ive said many many times before, and as usual ive been slagged of by the IAKOW brigade, the club hull fc is an utter shambles, and an embarrassment, one of which started circa 2006 and will probably see us in the championship 10 years later, appalling recruitment coupled with mind boggling manergerial descions have left us in a right pickle.... the chairman, god bless him , had all the intentions of taking us to the top but entrusted certain individuals to take us there on his behalf, due to his lack of rl knowledge, and they led him down the garden path, bigtime... mcrae looked like he was here to sign his mates and line his pockets, which to be fair, he did...... a succesion of terrible appointments in my opinion have left us looking like an amateur team, but employing an amateur teams coach, whar did we expect?? I can only see us heading one way, and thats to oblivion. .. quickly, unless something changes even quicker... i have no faith in ANY member of fc's coaching team or recruitment team (motu tony) to deliver us a winning team, either now or in the future... games are like the atmosphere .. drab and boring, culminating in fans dismay at the utter drivel which is served up by the most expensive fc team of all time, a team which is at full salary cap, a team with players deemed not good enough for superleague, a team with pkayers miles past there best and youngsters whove stagnated since breaking into the first team... i like many others will not be reneweing, its got to a point of not even wanting to go this year....if adam pearson reads this, which i very much doubt, id say, wake up and smell the coffee, your business and our club is failing, badly, your product in which us consumers buy isnt quality and not value for money. ..your ciach is way way out his depth, and so are many others who you employ...be bold, be professional and do the right thing for thr club, yourself and the fans...before its too late

Signs regarding Horne look good so far so if there was a clear out then he would be worth retaining IMO. In fact I'd say anyone else associated with the U19's should be kept on. They seem to be doing a good job.

| Surely there are other assistant out there who could come in and do a supporting job with a view to eventually having effectively two head coaches. I like Radders. I think the ethos of the club and (generally) the defensive displays have been ok. I just think he needs a bit more support in attack, because it really is dire.

| For me the problem still remains in that the club constantly rewards failure when it comes to the Coaching appointments. In that I mean we have always promoted the assistants to failed Head coaches. These assistants have been part and parcel of the general malaise and poor performances so should have gone at the same time as the Head Coaches.
For Radford to have been any kind of success he would have either needed Head Coach experience at this level or been appointed with the club at the top of its game in terms of on the field success.
Pearson was right in the appointment of Gentle but unfortunately he was let down by McRae the same as Pearson himself. I also think that Radford was riding on the back of what Gentle had put in place but now is lost and sinking.
Currently with Radford and last who have seen very little outside the bubble of Hull FC as coaches we could have the current Australian National Team as our 1st team squad but we would still fail due to the poor coaching and inability to change the game plan and instill a winning mentality into the players and bring the best out of them.
If Pearson fails to axe Radford soon then he wont have to worry too much about the fans reaction at the games as there will be very few left.

If I was AP and had the money to do it I'd find a new experienced coach with his own assistants who have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with Hull or the Club or area. I'd out all of the existing incumbents which may be harsh on Horne but he needs to go and learn the job elsewhere first. The club is insular and amateurish in , at least , all of it's customer facing aspects and regrettably getting worse. The good back office people have gone or are going and we're left with a group headed by "Clarkie" who epitomises everything bad about communication and PR. His spin is just hollow and is convincing less and less people all of the time.
Of course that won't happen or can't happen for reasons that only AP knows but it's looking more and more likely it's a lack of funds or an unwillingness to throw good money after bad ( regardless of why we're in this position it's still his money and the current situation is hardly going to enthuse him to keep on spending). I think he's got his eggs in the Challenge Cup basket and believes that Wakey will save us from relegation this year. If that is the case and he's quietly looking for a replacement coaching team then I guess it makes some sense to do nothing now. From a season pass sale point of view he needs a big story if the season continues to go down the pan so a cup run in the short term and a new coach announced when the passes go on sale with a couple of signings may help bolster the numbers and persuade everyone to give him one more last chance. If he isn't looking for a replacement and prepared to admit to himself at least that Club Hull is the last thing an insular outfit at the end of the M62 needs then God help us.
If AP can't change the whole coaching set up then my plan B would be go get an experienced assistant or attack coach or DOR or whatever title you want to give him and replace Last now. Someone with some gravitas and respect in the game. If that cost double Last's salary until the end of the season it would be worth a shot. It might just give everyone a lift and enthuse the players enough to at least make an attempt to get in the 8.

But that's not the answer is it? - it would simply give Radford someone else to blame.
He would still be in overall charge. Game plan, team selection, recruitment etc & I don't know what an `attack coach is expected to do with
a 3/4 line of donkeys (Lineham excepted.).An `attack coach' would be looking for skill, pace & flair, & that type of player doesn't fit Radfords bash & barge `strategy'.
Can anyone tell me which one of those traits Talanoa. Yeaman, or Sa possess?
Yeaman - well past it,
Sa. - a couple of big hits on the opposition & 3 weeks injured
Talanoa - slow, dodgy under a high ball, but his enthusiasm seems to endear him to a lot of the fans,
We need a clearout ASAp overseen by a new coach, but I can't see it happening unless Pearson grows a pair.

Agree absolutely but the clear out won't/can't happen and the situation is desperate. Bringing someone in at least gives a chance of a short term improvement. If it fails then the clearout happens at the end of the season anyway. If it works it's because of the new guy.
