From what i gather. As Gleeson wasn't sacked from Wigan, he got the rest of his contract paid off by Wigan until the end of the season.

So we've signed him on £40,000 until the end of the season then matching his Wigan contract of £120,000 for next season.

We wont be paying that, £70k tops, the NRL stuff was smoke and mirrors, his other option was franchiseless Wakefield.

I don't see any way he'll be playing for us next season for £70k. £70k is an average salary for a SL player. Internationals will be on £100k+ and he could have got that at plenty of clubs for next season

Well, he's a former international, 30 years old, and has previous, so I'd hope the deal is in FC's favour.

AFAIK yes, any renumeration counts.

Win bonuses are included but any prize money the club wins from finishing position SL or Challenge cup, can be shared out to the players and this doesn't count on the cap
