Today in Game (St Stephens one) they had a small pic of the cover of the game. No release date, but at least that means it should definitely be getting a UK release.

Yeah, it is definitely getting released. They just basically want to make as much money as they can from the Australian release.

They're selling games over there for $80+, which is basically our £45/50+. They just didn't want us sending them games for cheaper and then they lose out on a bit of extra money.

As the ps3 has now been hacked (today) i expect there to be a lot more ps3 owners in the near future.

Does competition count as playing a season?

On RL3 competition is not the same as manager mode or franchise in competition its only one season and i dont think you can sign players also its things like the the challenge cup. Were as is franchise mode its 15 seasons and you can sign players get sacked and all that just like on fifa.

Games station told me the uk release date was 2nd september when i pre ordered it.

The reason xbox live is a membership is so that you can report other members and xbox live can ban then if there is a need to. (say your playting fifa online you go one nill up and the other player keeps disconnecting. with ps3 you cant as you dont chose who you play).

I would be extremely surprised if you get the game from a UK outlet on 2nd september.

As for the online thing, most of my gaming is done on the pc (far superior to both consoles) and i only use the consoles for online sports games (much better on console than pc)
