We have heard this all before, we often have tried to sign good players, but mainly it hadn't come off.
This is Radford only chance to stay as Hull coach, if he pulls off some great recruitment for next year. |

Doesn't matter if they're a SO or SH. He leads and organises a team, has a kicking game and can create opportunities. That's what we need. |

Absolutely awful this season - worst halfback in the NRL.
Overweight. Lazy. Slow. Won't run with the ball. Can't tackle.
Just catches & passes.
Has hell of a boot on him though. - When he's fit enough to play! |

Well Radfords recruitment so far hardly inspires confidence.
he's signed 7 players, some o.k , some poor, but collectively bang average.
Wilf alluded to the fact that sacking a coach mid season isn't a great idea ,
but as Radford is obviously out of his depth, does Pearson allow him to sign our next season batch of players?
He should be nowhere near recruitment unless he can prove he can get our underperforming players up to scratch.
I.m.o we have only 3 players playing consistently to their ability. Westerman .Ellis & Shaul (possibly Houghton). |

By the sounds of it we wont be signing squad players if we can avoid it so I'd expect our back up winger to be Lancaster from here on. If Talanoa gets an extension then we'll have Talanoa, Lineham, Crookes, Lancaster and Stark in the first team. That is enough numerically although I'd like to see Crookes shipped out and replaced with someone good.
I like Pitts but haven't seen enough of Tuson to judge. Hadley looks like establishing himself and Thompson has surprised many with his performances. I would also expect to see Turgut some time soon. So our second rowers will be Ellis, Tuson, Whiting, Thompson, Hadley and Turgut. I don't see much room for Pitts, sadly.
My wish-list is short and reusable every year. We need a scrum-half. If Miller can kick on and do the job then I'll be happy. If he can't then I think we need an older, established player for HTW and Reece Dean to learn from and eventually displace.'"
