Also got told there's a few more of gentles signings radders doesn't rate or want in his squad , but is finding it hard getting rid of them as most are on stupid money and long term deals .

McDonnell , Pitts , miller and Arundel are the names I've heard . Arundel is on a rolling contract starting at 60k and ends up at 120k if true wtf

I can understand why McDonnell and Miller are on very good money but the other two, just wouldn't make any sense!

Thompson hasn't come cheap either , and millers wage is stupid if true . So looks like another few years till we get the squad sorted and the coach has the players he wants .

It was interesting at Featherstone that Miller and Arundel were the ones left out with the kids almost as if they'd done something wrong. I said at the time that there was absolutely no point in Arundel being out there in the second half other than to damage his confidence and Miller was always on when we had a junior/lightweight pack out there - not that that made any difference as it was - but he's had no chance to even try to form a partnership with Rankin for example. If he is trying to freeze players out then I can't imagine that it will be good for morale generally.

All these players can't be on stupid money! There's a cap in place!

If Miller's wage is stupid then I'd have thought it would make more sense to play the guy and try to manage him to get him to fulfill his potential otherwise as you say we just keep waiting and waiting and waiting...............

Unless a coach is there for a significant amount of time he wont get the team he wants. The fact is another coach took this team to 6th and a final whilst apparently being mickey poor along the way.

If you people to take you serious and answer your posts with sensible debate (which to be fair mine was, although slightly off topic with the Rovers comment) you need to stop acting like a d##k 99% of the time on here.

There are few Rovers posters, who you can discuss rugby with like Mild Rover, Bishop and even RP (although he is unbelievable biased against Hull), unfortunately you are not one of them.

What classes as a significant amount of time?

You would be looking at 3+ years with 3 years being the average contract nowadays. But you would still have some players who were on longer deals.
