This season he has to play or make way
His injury is healed if it isnt retire.
He is supposed to have mastered his Illness, if he cant then retire!
This is professional sport guys, and there is no place for sentiment
I for one hope he causes mayhem again for defences but if not then he takes the long walk, all players through age or injury get to that point eventually!

He needs to get a grip of the illness and needs a big year, in fairness to him he has not had a regular half back partner, hooker or fullback in recent seasons and I think injuries permitting he will benefit from playing regularly with Long, Tansey and Berrigan.

Some good points..however my biggest issue is his defence he just appears to fall off them, the best players in the world cannot address this problem only Rich, lets hope he does.

Agreed , I suppose that is a big factor but I guess with the abundance of riches playing around him now there is no where to hide and his obvious class has to shine again, and lets be fair he has been brilliant in the past but i have never seen him look so thin as he does now so his tackling wil be scruitinised thats for sure!!
I can imagine one or two players are steeling themselves ready to step in !!

Aye. Let's hope he gets back to his best, because we can't afford for him to have another season like last year. At least we have some options if his form doesn't pick up.
