The RFL have published the plans that have caused so much furore. On full-time Academies, the proposal is to have 10, run it is implied by 10 of the 12 SL teams in the new structure, on 6 year licences. They would be funded (at least in significant part) by an RFL grant.
The (probably scant) consolation for those not getting this status, advantage and cash would be that they are not obliged to include so many club-trained players in their squad. The gap could be made up with non-fed signings, it appears.
Clubs not receiving academy accreditation have the option of running (and self-funding) a part-time 'centre of excellence'.

The KR acaademy is not getting any better facilitity wise, spoke to martin dunn he said he cant wait to retire he said they will still be using ASA high school for the next few seasons and HKRs main car park that pitch at the side is for 1st team to train on.
