“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club.
Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

They had a batch coming through together at the same time like we did in 2005 and 2006 but they have blended them in right and we havent....also their u-20's was royally stuffed by us a few weeks ago and our u-20's arent that hot....

| Absolutely devastated for Longy. It looked so painful, and it's just so disappointing to see such an outstanding player throughout the years struggling so much with his fitness. Long has played some great rugby for us, but surely he can't get a new playing contract... We'll see

Obst and Horne with Ellis as back up as things stand. That said we would have Long's salary to use so we might get a 7 from somehwere.

Be a big risk though Wolfie.
Out all season with a serious injury and never played a SL game at halfback.

If we go with Obst and Horne at HB, next year we will struggle to finish in the play offs.

Yes, we offered him a one year contract but he wanted two years and we wouldn't agree to that. I can't say we have regretted our decision!
As for Jamie Ellis, he is a good halfback. He played two games for Saints first team during Potter's tenure but Potter didn't really like sticking with the young guns and giving them time to blend so he was a permanent fixture in the u20s thereafter, which presumably is why he left for Leigh. There is no reason he couldn't step up to first grade. Did you see our match with Leeds on Friday night? Our stand off, Lee Gaskell, is only 20 and also only had two games at first grade last season. I think he's doing quite well. No reason to believe Jamie Ellis couldn't make the step up so long as he was provided with the necessary support from coach and team mates.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Neither had Burrow, Tomkins, Lomax etc until their debut. Our problem is that we build them up and when they don't play like Lockyer from minute one, we knock them down. Either that or we just don't play them at all.

That's the thing for me, we have to play him otherwise we won't know. Playing U20's will do nothing for him. He needs a good offseason though imo and then some gametime.

That happened with Brough. fans on here called for him to play for ages and when he did he started getting criticised after a few games with peopel saying he wasn't good enough. Same with Sharp this season.
