Leigh are a cut above everyone in that league (bar perhaps Bradford). I don't think anyone will get promoted this year, but Leigh are the only ones with a proper chance of it imo.

You said they would win without having to get out of 2nd gear,and you claim our coach has no confidence in himself but if he adopted your approach and selected the team predicting an easy victory it could cost him his job if it went wrong,his job is to get us in the next round.

Yes like I said I thought Salford would win. I didn't think they would blow them out of the park, but I though it would be somewhere around the 16-20 point mark. So well done Leigh.

A few points though. Sheffield are not Leigh. Leigh are head and shoulders above everyone bar Bradford in that league. For starters they are full time whereas Sheffield are not. Also, without Chase, and to a lesser extent Dobson, I think we are a better team than Salford. We have a stronger pack and better 3/4s for me, and our squad has more depth. They looked clueless at times today, especially on their last tackle options. Finally they made some criminal errors that, regardless of personnel, you shouldn't be making. Ultimately this cost them the game. If BJB didn't throw that silly pass I'm confident they would have gone on to grind out a win.

Whatever happened today I still expect an easy win tomorrow, and I still don't agree with our approach.

Let's just hope we don't have to go through any gear changes tomorrow because I don't think many of us have seen any evidence that we've got many so far this season.

In a one off game the championship clubs can be competitive. To do it 4 times in 7 weeks will really be the test, particularly if there are short turn arounds

Me too, could take Micheals place as not convinced about him, but maybe doesn't deserve to be dropped.

Talanoa has made 3 blunders in three games , Two of them resulting tries for the opposition .

Wasn't that on the wing? The last two games he has played at centre, offers miles more than Michaels in defence and attack.

Sorry, but you are so wrong on that point, Micheals makes more tackles than any of our backline per match, he also makes far far fewer errors than Talanoa, Talanoa has made 12 errors to Micheals 3, their metres per carry are almost identical.
I'd rather have Micheals in, he's hardly done much wrong, not saying spectacular but then again aside from Mini & some fashes of individual brillaince who has. Other than to give Yeaman a run out I can't see Radford taking him out.

Michaels has pace but the slowness of our passing , Ptb gives him little if any opportunity to use it . Same goes for the rest of the back line .
