Hopefully that's all it was.
I thought Westerman was very good yesterday, probably one of his best games for us, and we look so dangerous when he drifts out to the right and starts creating.

| It was a bit of a worry when he came off and went straight down the tunnel. Hopefully that's all it was - off because the job was done (and a good job at that).

| Cas were absolute garbage, their forwards were tired after ten minutes and that carney broke a few tackles but was blowing more than any winger I've ever seen, despite this I think we still showed a lot of positive signs- when the game was clearly won we were still aggressive in defence and our attack still looked slick. I feel like if it was one or two years ago we would have held off and let cas score a few consolation tries and the game would have been more like 40-18 instead of 52-0. Credit to all the players for showing some killer instinct and real aggression, Holdsworth and Horne ran the show very well and Tom lineham is going to be a world beater!
Also thought arundel looked much better and a lot more confident in himself - tickle seemed to be looking out for him in defence and guiding him, think he'll prove his doubters wrong if he hits form and gets back into his rugby properly

| Gentle said Holdsworth was still suffering a hangover affect from the concussion. Still a worry for me as he was holding his head as soon as he kicked his last conversion and the physio got him straight off.

| It was what we were all crying out for after last week, a response. It was a good performance but Castleford contributed to their own downfall in a big way. The most important aspect of the win for me was the defence in keeping a clean sheet. But last night matters not a jot unless we can go to Huddersfield and back up. Consistency is key.

| Whilst I agree that Cas were responsible for loss of ball etc., surely most of this was caused by the sheer ferocity of the FC tackling. They really wanted to put last week behind them and they did this and more. Even when Cas broke our lines the recovery tackling was out of this world. More of the same please.

I thought that after an iffy start it was Westerman's best game at loose forward for us.

I noticed Whiting feeding the scrum towards the end. He didn't half look uncomfortable bending that far down.

| We were solid rather spectacular. We didn't offer much in the first half but stayed in the game though strong defence and a good kicking game, then just captilased on cas errors, which is what good sides do. Second hald we opened up more and played some good rugby.
Most impressive thing was our atttiude, noticeable difference from last week (which is disappointing) and it told. Even with 15 mins to go we fought like made when 46-0 up to keep them on their line. The nil was much more satisfying than the 52.
Impressed with Arundel last night, produced some good defensive reads and tackles and too his tries well. Lineham was also excellent and Holdsworth controlled the game. McDonnell was again excellent and Watts made a huge difference. Houghton probably has his best game of the season.
I'd like to give real praise goes to Westy. He's my player of the season so far, his attitude has changed so much starting at the back end of last season, he is a real leader with his agressive defence now.
Doesn't make up for Widnes, we are still two points down.

| Saw the fight again on SL Full Time. Swinging arm by I think Adam Milner, followed by a push in the face by Hauraki. All missed by Ganson and what sparked it all off. Think Hauraki was unlucky as he didn't really do much in the scrap!
Justin Carney was very lucky though, came in like a steam train and picked out Liam Watts for some reason to unload on. He should get a fair suspension. Mark O'Meley I didn't even see throw a punch!
Didn't show the Rangi/Lineham part, but you see Lineham pull Rangi out of the ruckus, and Rangi turn around to have a go.
There'll be a couple missing from both sides I reckon.

Yeah I saw the highlights on Super League Full Time last night. I'm surprised they showed the scrap actually. I was laughing my head off at Justin Carney. Swinging rapidly like an absolute madman whilst Mark O'Meley was being held back by Castleford players. To be fair, Danny Tickle looked like the most punishable on account of the number he threw and how many landed.

Good test for his bicep though - arm seemed to straighten fully without any problem.

| Out of all of them, Carney was the worst. Ran in and swung a lot at Watts (who was being held back), fell over, then had a few swings at Briscoe.
I think Tickle will get a ban as he connected with a lot of punches and I don't think we can complain too much about that.
Out of the 17 that faced Cas, I expect only Tickle and Heremaia to be missing. Personally, I'd bring Johnson back into side in Tickle's place and then call up Cunningham as an interchange hooker.
