Definate red card, we don't want people getting seriously hurt through shocking tackles like that. 2 matches at least. His immediate reaction gave away he knew it was a bad one and thats why he was apologising to the ref profusely

As most people have said I dont think it was deliberate by Tansey. That said it was very dangerous and the red card was the right decision. I also fully expect him to get a 1 or 2 match ban and if it does you won't hear me complaining.

Taking my black and white specs off, if any other player had done that tackle to one of our players, we would be screaming for them to be sent off.

when childs ref`d his first game in super league,a lot of us thought he was pretty good.but now he sames to be falling to the same standards as the rest.i couldn`t get to this game,but listened to it on KCFM,and it seems that after gum chewing noble had a go at him when going of at half time,he lost his bottle altogether.30 minutes play out of 40 in the second half,not 1 penalty against crusaders,according to the commentators.

Must admit I thought about that myself,but from where I was sat ,nearly opposite the event,Tansey came flying in and flipped the player through momentum.Not saying it wasn`t a dangerous tackle,but I.M.O. he couldn`t avoid it.

As soon as he called their captain out to warn them about persistent infringements, I turned to my mate and said 'that's the the last penalty we're going to get this game', I was nearly right

You seem well informed. I was about 30 yards away but still couldn't comment conclusively. I'll have to see it again. What was your view of the incident? Where was you sitting?

I have to agree, Tansey should never have put the player in that position and should know better, watched it at the game and again on Sky sports news, it was bad and deserving of a sending off. We would have wanted an offending player if the roles were reversed hung drawn and quatered so just because a rovers fan comes on here and and dares say the same not really fair to call him.

But we all know he would have just been put on report against us!

Maybe he would we'll never know but we have to accept that within the laws of the game Tansey got what he deserved. The hysteria on here does go too far at times.
At the end of the day though consistency from the governing body and refs is what we all want.

Theres no bias about it, it was a shocking tackle and he was rightly red carded. You can come up with however many excuses you want trying to justify his attempt to seriously injure someone, you are embarrasing yourself through your bias.


The Hull fans who actually understand the game are even admitting it was a sending off.
