Read an article earlier from Serious About Rugby League, and I have no idea how accurate they tend to be, but basically sounding like Bateman could be in a bit of limbo. West's want rid of him and have now signed May. And Manly would have to get rid of a player to fit Bateman in, which it seems like they're struggling to do.

He may be available. And if we are one of, if not his only choice, then we may be able to get him for a fairly decent price.

Staveley could play prop and think that's where he will end of. Cartwright could play there too, although I'd much rather have him in the backrow.
