| Quote The Brother="The Brother"There is something going on behind the scenes, agar and Sharp not all cracked up to be, and people pointing the finger at Sharp could be way off the mark
A certain coach who isn't wanted by his club but is by another would rather hang on and wait for the Hull job to come up
Make of that what you like'"
I've said all season that one baffles me. Out of the 2 of them, it's Agar who has been here throughout our decline, it's Agar who claims to be the attacking coach, and it's Agar who should be responsible for team selections and the interchange policy. Attempting to pin the blame on Sharp allegedly having too much say just seems like an attempt to excuse Agar with no real basis to support it IMO.
I'm not particularly convinced either are up to it, but I certainly wouldn't say Sharp is more culpable than Agar.

| Quote Uncle Junior="Uncle Junior"With Noble in charge I'd be looking forward to next season with anticipation, you know what you are going to get with him and he's done an underrated job at Wigan IMO. With Agar in charge I know next season doesn't really start until he gets sacked, and who knows how much damage the little clown will have done by then.'"
Where has the link with us and Noble come from ?

| I rate Noble highly and think he has done a god job with Wigan and would like him at Hull. However, he did have clashes with both Long and Calderwood and I wonder if that would be a problem for either player. I don't think it would be, especially for Long as he was willing to talk to Wigan about joining them but who knows.

Have you seen us with the ball?!?
We have the 3rd worst attack in SL, not within 100 points of anyone ahead of us. We had the absolute worst last season.
In contrast, we have the best defence outside of the top 6, and along with Hudds (where Sharp was coaching) the best outside the top 5.
Make no mistake, the bulk of our problems lie fairly and squarely with our attack, and it's by a big margin. We have a mediocre defence, but a phenomenally poor attack.

| Can't believe people want Sharp to come in tbh. Look at what Huddersfield where with him, didn't even get into the play offs last year - now with only a few signings and a new coach they're in CC final and challenging the big 2 for the first time since us... He has a past record for holding teams below there potential and is NOT the type of coach we want.
The whole 'two equal manager' stuff doesn't work and I can think of few situations where it has, what message do you think it sends to your coach when you say: "Look we think you'll need a little help next season so we're bringing in a DOR to work above you, to overlook you." He's basically just waiting for Agar to fail so he can swoop in and make us average for another 2 years.
If we're going to get rid of Agar we need to get rid of Sharp too.

Do they? I've not seen anyone say so. In fact I think most people agree with your last comment.
(BTW though, Hudds did actually make the CC Final with Sharp in charge as well)

| I'd be happy with the appointment of Noble and a few 0's should have fallen off the price tag of Fielden .
