This is one thing that has slipped during the Pearson era. Yes the Hetherington/Rule ones often became like a poltical broadcast and we'd have 'grade A licence' repeated at us, but it was at least a chance to hear what the board where thinking, and a chance to discuss more minor matters like ticket prices, shop opening times etc. Now its silence unless Pearson calls Hull Live up.

So far weve had crowds of 15k, 11k and just under 21k and at say £25 a ticket on average (taking into account concessions) thats a good revenue.'"
Agreed, crowds across the sport seem to be doing better than expected.
The club did a good job pre season of building up some hype and getting people excited so I'm not surprised our crowds started off well. Just so disappointing that less than 2 months into the season all that good work has been undone by the absolute getting thrown up on the pitch. Getting these types of crowds for the rest of the season, and certainly next seasons memberships, is going to be impossible if there aren't any improvements very quick.

Averaging 11k despite the awfulness served up on the pitch over the last few years is at least something the club can be proud of.
Can you imagine (yes it's hard) what our crowds would be like if we had consistent success like Saints or Wigan.

If the club had any sense they could make a lot more money from FC live
A fans forum on FC live would be a good start

Even success we wouldn't get much more than 14k average
Even in 2016 2017 crowds weren't that high really

Compare our crowds to other SL clubs. That's the yardstick.

Aside from 2016 and 2006 (maybe we like playing in years ending in 6) we havent really been consistently good though, they are the only years id turn up for a game and believe we were favourites. If we had consistently good performances like Saints and Wigan we'd get more in.
Sadly lost count of the number of times ive seen new people sit in my block and Hull serve up an absolute disaster. People go home thinking £30 for this??

| I won’t cancel my direct as I have committed to the season and think it’s wrong for me to cancel it and receive cheaper tickets for the games I’ve currently been to.
However, next year I’m getting married, I’m currently getting some house work done so right now money is tight. I love FC but right now I’m really struggling to justify getting mine and my partner passes next season.
Paying £50/£60 a month to watch us get whipped most weekends and end up in a sulk. I feel like there will be a lot of fans like me.
The club are really going to have to work on engagement to get me back on board and that has to start ASAP. Not just preseason pass marketing with a bunch of empty buzz words

| According to the chairman the West Hull club have lost over 3,000 season pass holders.
How long will the fans accept the “jam tomorrow” sales pitch season upon season?

Totally agree with you on the club needing to work hard and improve on its engagement with its fanbase. It’s been poor for you long and each year gets worse and it used to be a strongpoint but seems much like the playing squad there’s a lack of desire from the club in that aspect.

That was for 2021 with pass sales impacted by Covid (we were back in lockdown when they went on sale) this years sales are back at 2020 levels.
Our passholders would struggle to fit in caravan park we'd have to sit in the chavvy chic burger van area.

I assume you are alluding to Hull Kingston Rovers ground Sewell Group Craven Park?
The capacity of that stadium is 12,225. I doubt very much that Hull season pass sales exceed that figure even though some were only £1.
The clubs “ Chavvy burger area” is named Craven Streat Sky sports pundits always mention it on TV.
It looks very entertaining different cuisines, various alcoholic beverages and live bands, the club make a lot of revenue from this area of their stadium.
I believe the City on the West Side reside in a football stadium and make nothing at all from the beverages sold, I am informed your chairman pays a lot of money for the rugby club to play there and you only make a profit after the first so many thousand spectators …….. I’m sure one of your members can confirm the exact tenancy agreement in place.
I don’t think the West side of the City can mock their East side rivals if the only entertainment you can serve up is a game where you kick a rugby ball into the back of a transit van.

Think your way off with the capacity.
Id also hazard a guess the "football stadium" is a ground most players and supporters would like to be at. In fact the away facilities at KR are embarrassing.

Appears I’m not “way off with that capacity”. So your pass holders would quiet comfortably fit in.
It would likely be empty by half time and would have the atmosphere of a library but you would fit in.
