That was a professional coach versus an amateur.
What game plan did we have? bunching at the play the ball when we needed to spread the ball wide to make some metres.Where was the message from the coach to spread out.
Poor team selection as i said before the game.A lightweight second row and bench because Radford doesnt want to Play Green even though he was our best prop a few weeks ago, then moving Connor to the bench when Connor starting and Albo on the bench worked well previously.
That also could have been avoided by simply moving Griffin into the second row allowing both Kelly and Connor to start.
Sneyds kicking from hand once again very poor never allowing a decent kick chase.
Although kicking from deep he should have kicked along the turf and into space giving the chasers more time to get upfield.
Effort is one thing coaching is more important

Is Green injured?? Who in their right mind plays brad gash over green? Completely out played in the forwards. Big prop needed.

connor had a mare today but it happens, our forwards are the problem imo, not enough go forward, but we addressing that for next year, missed manu today, but overall our pack is getting old, today masi savellio green could have made a big difference, but its gone now, onwards to wigan thurs,

Well played Hull, that was a proper arm wrestle of a game, closer than the score suggests. Just shows what we can do when we cut down the daft errors and stick to our plan, as a previous poster said, very unlike Wire.

I don't think it was "all wrong". Connor not done enough last few weeks to displace either Griffin or Carlos. A couple of the forward picks open to debate but majority correct IMO. The reality is Warrington have a more expensive squad with marquee usage, so most days should be beating us. When the players gift them 3 tries from errors you get that outcome. I actually enjoyed the game, a proper cup tie and not as stressful as other years where it felt the stakes were higher somehow.

Can I take that back about Wigan, just remembered the league placings.

I said last week Connor not doing enough but to bench him in such an important game rather than just move Griffin to starting second row was a poor decision.
Surely Radford could see how light we were in the second row and on the bench.

I think most know where our shortfalls are, and we look to be fixing them for next year, after last years wows, sitting 3rd and losing a semi isn't the worst of seasons

Absolutely we just had a few things go against us today which told in the end. Two missed kicks by Sneyd and two mistakes leading to tries. Hardly need to overhaul the squad or point fingers at the coach.

The reality is we made 3 errors that they scored from. Even with a perfect game plan that sort of execution will do for you in a semi final against a team above you in poor conditions. Doing well to keep putting ourselves in semis and finals. Hope we can make the play offs now and it will have been a decent season.

Warrington wanted it a little more than us.
They pushed up when we had the ball,but we weren't able to do the same.

Full credit to the Wolves, we weren't quite at the races today.
