Also throwing HTW in would ruin the kid.'"
Why would it ruin him? As long as he is willing to work hard to improve and is confident in himself then it won't do any harm. At worst he will struggle but find out the level he needs to reach. Kids have made debuts younger than him and gone on to be really good players.

Htw will be no better than miller at 20 years old, plus he's not a scrum half, need to give these young kids a chance and time if your going to play them. Can't think of many English scrum halfs who have been the finished article at 20, probably Sean long been the closest to it, but even he was 21, 22 before he really started performing consistently. I'm in favour of a new coach

| The problem with Miller is he has just not progressed whilst at the club.Tackling is bad and his kicking game overall is still poor.
if I had seen anything different in his play I would say give him a chance but its the same lateral running going nowhere.
Now I am not a RL coach but surely what you want from your 7 particularly if they have a bit of pace and good step like Miller is to attack the line look for the gap and pull in defenders, and if that means you have to take a tackle then that's part of the game.
Surely the coach can see what we see.get him on the field and tell him to stop running sideways and go forward, pull in the defender and release the pass or hit the gap if it appears..
I think Miller has potential but he has to change his style of play.Sandercock changed Dobson into a much better attacking half who most games made breaks,so it can be done.

Agree, under a different coach, I think he could be a lot better, wouldn't surprise me at all if he left us, and became a world beater at another sl club

| Still think he is our best option at 7, could rankin play centre, he is quick and can find a gap, then Horne could slot in at 6 and add some experience.
Shaul
Crookes
Crooks
Rankin
Talanoa
Horne
Miller

Yeah it was, but I bet he goes onto better things after leaving us, he's only 20, plenty of improvement left him yet

| Can you tell me,which of these other POOR SCAPEGOATED half backs have gone on to bite us back on the arriss, when they have left the club???,because I can't remember any, funny that!!
The next SCAPEGOAT (Miller) will find his level when he's left,I don't foresee a future in professional rugby league (because he's not good enough),but that will be because??

I can't name one because they've usually retired after leaving, because of age or injury, hardly likely to come back and bite us! Head, dykes, long. I guess Seymour could of, but look at what we did to him. If I was quality half back, theys no chance I'd sign for us over other clubs, so unless we give a young kid a chance and really invest in them, the top quality half will never happen

| Miller and Rankin play too wide from the play of the ball, nine times out of ten Westerman is first receiver and then onto Miller,Rankin. Our play of the ball is too slow and too lateral. We are trying the dummy runner plays but because of the above oppositions see it coming and sniff it out.
Are they good enough? Probably not. Rankin gets the ball where the fullback should be and Miller is surrounded by the time he receives. Neither dictates the play but the best half backs struggle if their pack is bullied as ours was yesterday and on other occasions this year!
They both need to find the way to dictate play or neither will make it as a half end of!

| We could have done worse then signing Liam Finn IMO. Wonder if Sneyd will become available next season if Salford are after Green aswell now, might be worth enquiring.

PTB yesterday was so pedestrian. Could have got them offside loads of times with more urgency.
