| Quote: PAUL M "Horne had a good game on Friday. Made two tries and several breaks, had we supported better these could have led to more tries.
His weakness is his long kicking game. He and Seymour should be a good combination with Heremaia helping with the kicking out of dummy half. The Ellis as back up for injuries or loss of form.'"

The lack of support for the man with the ball frustrates the hell out of me. It's such an easy area for us to improve along with improved dummy running

| That's the problem with Horne,he is by far our best support player, but if he makes an half break 'there is knowbody there, hopefully this will be rectified with Mc Kinnon being a very good support player and a new coach.

| Wasnt Peter Gentle a former halfback? If so if he doesn't get us scoring tries I doubt many coaches will!

I thought that, too. I didnt take too much ftom it, though - Agar was a half-back!
I'm hoping that is where the similarities between Gentle and Agar end. I'm pretty confident it is.

We have scored 28 of them in our last four games.

All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason.

Key next year is having 4 first team halfbacks in Horne, Seymour, Ellis and Nicklas.
So hopefully this shoudl see the end of players like Turner, Obst, Westerman and Washbrook playing there.
Horne will do a good job if he is allowed to partner a proper halfback over a period of time and aloowed to play his own running game.
He hasn't has since Cooke left.
On another note, Ellis getting massive raps on the Leigh board, quiet excited about seeing him devleop next year, with a new coach and the right attitude he has all the potentail to make a top halfback IMO.
