Quote: number 6 "exactly, too many fans of other clubs wil always use an excuse not to come to hull regardless
should introduce different price bands for home fans for paying on gate or pre purchase match ticket
for example
band a- hull kr, leeds, wigan, saints, warrington £21
band b- cas, bradford, wakey, hudds £19
band c- salford, harlequins, catalan, widnes £17'"
I think it's a good idea in principal but I interpreted the banding in terms of soccer down to demand for tickets against seats available being higher than for perceived 'lesser' teams or not so attractive games. Given the KCs capacity I'm not 100% sure it would work or how it would be receivd by away fans or indeed the RFL?
I think they could/should make the tickets cheaper for away fans but it would need to be considerably cheaper to attract casual fans to travel on a Friday that ordinarily wouldn't come.
Also I think they could have family tickets for home & away supporters especially if they decide to have some Sunday games.
I brought my son down a couple of seasons ago and took parents. Nearly £90 for 4 people, that's a decent wedge of money and many families could not afford to spend that at the weekend even if they wanted to. So for casual supporters who want to pick and choose or just can't afford season tickets it is not an attractive outlay even more so given the rubbish we've been served up the last 4 years.
