We have options this season so there is no reason not to select on form. I imagine the whole squad is aware of this. Going through the motions cannot be tolerated, and we also can't afford to stick with out-of-form players.

The ideal for me would to have one or two players really staking a claim in the reserves (U20's, whatever they are called this week) but the 1st team performing so well Agar struggles with selection each week.

I'll have more respect for Agar if he makes tough decisions that don't work out than if he just picks the "names" and they don't work out.

Defeat doesn't bother me so much as the manner in which we are defeated.

Ok lets be direct over this , the initial point was that opposition fans can see he is weak, so must then the players RH is up against, yes we saw glimpses of the old RH in the Derby however he also got run over on more than one occassion in that same match before he went off .
No one wants the old RH more than me but as Standee quite rightly pointed out there is no place now at FC for sentiment and his illness and injuries is now no excuse, Like RW said in the mail , "this season a lot of players need to play or make way" !!.

He's never turned into the player he should have, for a half back he hardly dominates game. As for injuries there's always another excuse with Horne, he wasn't that great before he got injured.

There's a reason we've had him for so long, no one else would pay him what we do. For what we've spent on him we could have twice the player he is.

Trust me I'd love him to prove me wrong.

He'll be a totally different player, playing with a natural 7, considering who/what he's played with in the past...........we hope.

It'll be interesting to see how Pryce does without Long.
